I'm Back and ready to Scrap!

I'm still here! This flu has really knocked me around the last few weeks. I thought it was gone, but it came back with a vengeance! Today wasnt so bad though, I even got out to teach a class at Blossies (and picked up some gorgeous papers too!) I haven't done a huge amount of scrapping, but I plan on getting back into it this week. Can you believe that I'm actually up to date with all my scrappy committments, so I'll be scrapping just for me! I have to admit though, that I'm feeling a little lost and don't know where to start! I have soooo much stuff sitting in my scrap room that I just cant decide what to use! I was just the right amount of busy with being on 3 design teams, but now that I'm only on 2, it feels weird that I dont have a lot to do. Guess I might have to give those challenges that I'm always planning to do a go, lol.

Now...I do have a layout to share...this one is from a class I did a while back at Blossies, on how to make those twisty flowers and diy flourishes (sorry for the awful photo, I really need to find better light!)...

And here are a couple of sneaks of next months classes...

I've also started teaching at Scrapping on the Avenue at Bribie Island. It's only a fairly new shop, and it's just up the road from the water, so if you ever head up this way to spend the day at the beach, make sure you drop in and check it out.

Well, I'm off to sort all the kids uniforms for school for this week, (not that I feel like it!) Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!!

Gorgeous page...love those flowers. How do you make them so perfect...mine are always a little messy and rough!!! Know what you mean about getting the hang of scrapping for yourself. My 2 DT commitments ended early this year and I have only just got into the swing of 'just for me'...and I am loving it :)

lovely work as always sam...the shop she is talking about is 1/26 first avenue service road, bongaree. It's up the road from Scoopies ice cream parlour or right across the road from bribie state school...it's a lovely shop that is very open and bright with lovely work displayed all over, including sam's layouts.
