Layouts, layouts, layouts...

Happy Monday everyone! I'm so glad the heat has eased off a bit at the moment. It's all overcast and windy outside at the moment, so it's a perfect day to stay in and catch up on some scrapping. I seem to be all up to date with my dt commitments at the moment, so I'm just going to scrap for me today. I've seen a few good challenges that I might do, but if you know of any other good challenge sites just let me know!

I have a few layouts to share today. This one was for A2Z Scraplets, and it's a Scrap with V kit. It was soooo hard and such a challenge! I was given 2 sheets of patterned paper, ribbon, a couple of flowers and the scraplets. And I had to get 2 layouts out of it!!! 1 layout would be no problem, but 2??? I didn't know how I would possibly do it, but then I found out that I could add some cardstock to it, so at least that was a bit better. They definitely aren't my usual style but they are growing on me. Good to do something different for a change I guess ;) This is the other one from the same kit.

I also did a layout for the A2Z sketch challenge...here's the sketch...

And here's my layout...

The papers are Basic Grey Sugar Rush, aren't they nice? I love the flower embellishments in this range. And I love that photo of Em, taken on Christmas Day. She was patiently waiting for mum and dad to arrive so she could get into the Christmas crackers, she kept swapping them around in the hope that she would get the best prize, lol :)

Don't forget I have a blog giveaway at the moment, to win lots of Imaginisce Scooters Vacation goodies. I am leaving it open til the 12th of February, and all you have to do to be in the running is leave a comment and post it to your blog. Click here to enter.

I also had a HUGE problem with one patterned pp and two cardstock. I LOVE what you did though, very impressive. I won't share mine on my blog, that's for sure, after seeing yours!!

Gorgeous as always Sam!! Love the colours in those papers. Creative Scrappers is an awesome sketch site. You should give them a go - very inspiring there ;) http://creativescrappers.blogspot.com/

Sam, I just love the Carefree layout the best, wow cannot believe you got so much out of your kit, the way you did the outside border is just gorgeous, and the butterfly from a flower - amazing.
