Last weekend I went to a scrapping retreat for 3 nights, from Thursday to Sunday. It was so much fun, and I ate waaaay too much, but I only managed to finish 5 layouts! This one was for a challenge, where we had to make a vintage layout with negative space. Hmmmm...that was such a challenge for me! I just cant make negative space work for me, and vintage? I love the look of vintage layouts, but I find that kinda hard too. So anyway, here's what I came up with...
I used
Kaisercraft Gypsy Sisters paper, as well as some book paper and the bits and pieces that I got for the challenge. I actually ended up really enjoying that challenge and I'm going to try and do some more vintagey layouts. I have a thing for book paper at the moment, so at least that will fit into the vintage theme!

Oh that flower is gorgeous!! And I love the purples and reds. I'm going on a retreat in 2 weeks and I can't wait!!! I usually get nothing accomplished except eating and drinking too much. Haa haa!!
