Imaginisce and Core'dinations

Helloooo! I know I've been a little bit slack with the old blogging lately, but only because I've been soooo busy! My poor Mum has broken her leg, and I've been spending a lot of time with her. It was quite a nasty break, and she even needed surgery to pin some parts of it back together! All because Jack left water on the bathroom floor and left the shower running when he stayed at her house, causing Mum to slip :( She is not a happy camper, because she is in a wheelchair for the next 8 weeks or so. And Mum and I are running the craft stall at the school fair on Saturday, so that should be interesting! At least she will get to sit down all day, lol.

Now, I have been scrapping, and I've got quite a few new layouts made up for classes, but nothing that I can show just yet. One thing I can show is this little box I made for Emily...

She loves little boxes, and she just adores little bits and pieces to decorate her craft creations. So I plan on filling this little box with buttons and flowers, and other little bits and pieces just for her. (and so she stays away from all my good stuff!) I used Imaginisce paper and ribbon, for the box, and some Core'dinations cardstock for the flowers and cardstock "ribbon" on top. At the moment Imaginisce are having a blog swap with Core'dinations, so make sure you pop over there to see some gorgeous projects, and you could even win a fantastic prize, just for leaving a comment :)

Gorgeous box! I love it and it's a great idea too. Think I'll have to make some for my son to keep his craft stuff so he keeps out of mine :))

HI Samantha, sorry to hear about your mum, hope the leg heels quick for her.

LOVE this gorgeous box for your dd, the flowers are gorgeous and the colours are so pretty and girly and sweet.

Fantastic idea to add the crafty bits inside for her, I must decorate my dd's boxes, thanks for the gorgeous inspiration!

What a gorgeous box Sam, and what a great idea to perhaps keep her away from your beloved scrap gear. That is just awful about your mum, but kids are just like that, little disasters waiting to happen, I bet she is a bit annoyed about being in a wheelchair for 8 weeks, but tell her to look at the bright side and all the attention she will now get. Good luck at the Craft Stall this weekend. Melxx

Sam, that box is gorgeous, I just love it! The flowers look stunning (mine never look that good...LOL) Might have to try one of these for my niece, she is always looking for somewhere to keep her "treasures". All the best to your mum too.
