A Little Bit of Scrappiness...

Well, the kids go back to school tomorrow :(

I love it when they are home, yes, even with the fighting and whining. Sometimes I think I would love to homeschool, but I'm a total pushover where they are concerned, and I don't think I'd be a very good teacher. And the kids actually love going to school, and both argue about who has the "coolest" teacher!! Weird, huh? I never thought my teachers were cool!!

So, we didn't seem to do a lot over the holidays, but I have had lots of lovely super late nights, staying up til 1 0r 2, scrapping while the kids were sleeping. I have soooo many layouts that I can't share just yet, but here is one I did, just for fun, using up some of the bits and pieces that were on my table...

A couple of different Fancy Pants ranges on here, with some Imaginisce, a bit of Sass and some Kaisercraft! I usually tend to stick to one range when I scrap, so it was good to mix it up a bit :) I took these pics of Em last week, when we had a day out on my dad's boat. We were lucky enough to see 6 dolphins, including a mother and her calf!!! I didn't get a single decent photo of them though :(

I came across a huge stash of brads on a recent scrap room clean up, so now I'm using them where ever I can, lol.

And of course I had to pop a Purple Pumpkin button on here :)

There are still a few kits and button packs left on the Purple Pumpkin blog, so if you were wanting to get your hands on some of my handmade embellies, make sure you pop over there now, as once these are gone, there wont be any more until the end of the month.

Well, it's still raining here, so I'd better go and throw another load of laundry throught the dryer (yay! the novelty still hasn't worn off:)) Hope you've had a great weekend!

Hi Sam, I love the kids being home as well but I at least have 1 still with me until next year boohoo.

Love this fun layout, love the colours and your gorgeous PP button looks fab! How cool to see the dolphins!

I would LOVE to homeschool but yes the kids would have more fun at school and so far Zane has had great teachers!

Have a great week Sam!

Hi Sam, I love Nate being at home 24/7 and often say I would love to home school too, but I am a super softy like you and know it would just be too hard. I love this wonderful layout, I usually stick to the one manufacturer too, but this is super mixing it all up. Gorgeous my friend. Melxx

Love this Lo Sam - FAB mix of pps, you did a great job mixing them up! You have also given me a gentle reminder that I too, have a lot of brads I should be using more of (in fact, the same ones as you have here), oh, and I also need to clean my room...LOL XXX
